5 Pillars of Islam أركان الاسلام الخمسة

The Five Pillars of Islam are fundamental practices that every Muslim is expected to follow:
  1. Shahada: The declaration of faith, stating that "There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God."
  2. Salah: The performance of the five daily prayers.
  3. Zakat: Almsgiving or charity, which involves giving a portion of one's wealth to those in need.
  4. Sawm: Fasting during the month of Ramadan.
  5. Hajj: The pilgrimage to Mecca, which is required at least once in a lifetime for those who are able. Copilot AI.

5 Pillars

The 5 prayers have five names and five specific times as well as the following:

1- morning prayer time is at the dawn time before sunrise and is called in Arabic :

2- noon prayer time  is at noon time and is called in Arabic :
Dhuhr Prayer  Or Salatu Aldhuhr

3- afternoon prayer time  is when things has double lenghth in their shadows and is called in Arabic : Asr Prayer Or Salatu Alasr

4- evening prayer time is when sun completely sets and is called in Arabic :
Maghrib Prayer Or Salatu Almaghrib

5- night prayer time is when it is completely dark approximately 2 hours after sunset and is called in Arabic : Issha Prayer  Or Salatu Alishaa

Note:

On Fridays Muslims perform Friday Prayer instead of Dhuhr prayer and it is at the same time of Dhuhr prayer. Friday for Muslims people is like Sunday for Christian people. Muslims have to do Friday services prayers in groups not individually at mosque/masjid or at any other clean place or area. Most Arab countries take Friday as a holiday like Sunday.
